TalentJuice is committed to ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please take the time to carefully read this notice to understand how and why we collect, process, and store your personal data throughout and after the recruitment process.

Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data will be used exclusively for managing the recruitment process, assessing your qualifications for current and future opportunities (if you consent to being considered for such), and for maintaining a record of recruitment activities. The primary legal basis for processing your data is your consent, as the information you provide is voluntarily submitted. While you are not legally obligated to provide personal data to TalentJuice, failure to do so may limit our ability to evaluate or consider your application.

Additionally, we may process your data based on our legitimate interests, which include efficiently managing recruitment workflows, evaluating your suitability for roles, making hiring decisions, and responding to legal inquiries. We may also process your data to comply with legal obligations, such as verifying your right to work in a specific jurisdiction before formal employment. If your application is successful, we will continue processing your data as necessary for the onboarding process. TalentJuice does not rely on automated decision-making during recruitment.

Types of Data Collected

The personal data we collect is determined by the materials you submit as part of your application, which may include:

We do not collect special categories of personal data (e.g., racial or ethnic origin, health status, political beliefs, religious affiliation) unless explicitly required for accommodation under applicable laws. Please refrain from including such information unless necessary.

We may also collect personal data from publicly available professional sources or, with your permission, third parties such as former employers for reference purposes.

Data Sharing

Your personal data will be shared internally only with individuals directly involved in the recruitment and hiring process, including TalentJuice hiring managers, executives, interviewers, and designated HR or operations personnel. We will not share your personal data with external parties, except with our trusted service providers who assist with our recruitment and data processing systems. Should you be offered a position, additional processing may be necessary for onboarding.

If your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure that it is transferred only to countries with adequate data protection levels, such as the United States, under recognized transfer mechanisms (e.g., EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

Your personal data may also be shared with regulatory or judicial authorities when required by law.

Data Retention

If your application is successful, your personal data will be retained in your personnel file throughout your employment, and thereafter only as long as necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

If your application is unsuccessful, or for future job openings, your data will be retained until the end of the second calendar year following your application. This allows us to reconsider your candidacy for future opportunities and contact you when relevant roles arise.
